Mays Pond is located in the southeast corner of Ray and Kyrene Roads in Chandler in the Gila Springs planned community. Predominantly single story homes, there are 14 waterfront homes in this 134 property subdivision that were constructed by Taschner. May’s Pond finds itself located within 2 miles of both the I-10 and 202 freeways, and walking distance of the Intel Chandler facility.
Mays Pond is 1 mile from Desert Breeze Park, one of the participating parks in the Arizona Urban Fishing Program. Like Wellington Estates on the north side, waterfront homes in May’s Pond have a greenbelt buffer between the property and the water which eliminates the possibility of waterfront homeowners having boats that can be used on the lake. May’s Pond is located within the Kyrene School District for Elementary and Middle School; Kyrene de la Mirada is the elementary school which is less than half a mile away, Kyrene del Pueblo is the Middle School approximately 2 miles away, and Corona del Sol is the High School which is in the Tempe Union High School District.
