The recent string of Monsoon storms has demonstrated the power of mother nature and the destructive effects of high winds that accompany those storms. The result of the Monsoon storm that came through Phoenix on the last day of August left over 55,000 residents without power, closed highways, and snapped power lines. Over an inch of rain fell in some parts of the valley. Rain in Phoenix is always welcome, but this came at a price. A common site in many valley neighborhoods was fallen trees. TopGolf facility comes to Gilbert
This 65,000 sq.ft. golf attraction that covers 15 acres in south Gilbert is probably unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Its been described as a blend of golf, bowling and darts. Its much more than a driving range with its micro-chipped golf balls and high tech targets. Located in southeast Gilbert along the 202 Santan Freeway it is easily accessible from anywhere in the southeast valley.

Gilbert Lake Community in The Islands
The Falls in The Islands is a gated community on the center lake. The tax records show the name of the community as Coral Point but the marquee at the entrance to the subdivision shows The Falls. The Falls is a more appropriate name since there are three small man made islands with waterfalls that make you feel like you’re living on a tropical island. The majority of the 101 homes in The Falls back to these water features or have waterfront lots on the center lake.
